Children’s footwear is important as there can be consequences for not getting it right. There is a lot of rhetoric and propaganda on the internet about children’s shoe and it all has one thing in common and that is the lack of research evidence to support what they are claiming.

Logic would dictate that all children’s shoes need to do is not interfere with the normal development and function of the foot.

Logic would also dictate that children’s shoes may need to be used with specific design features if there are problems with the development and function of the foot.
